Andre Ayew
Anyone recall a lazier waste of space than this fraud? Shouldn't have played for us again after downing tools against arsenal last season. Seriously enlighten me to what this cunt offers?

Re: Andre Ayew
Agree. He particularly caught my focus throughout the game because he put forward little in the way of effort to win the ball and when he had it, he did fuck all with it.

He's going to creep up as one of worst pieces of business.

Once Swansea get their money for Siggurdson we could try and get them to buy him back.

Re: Andre Ayew
Panic buy from the board to appease Payet.

Didn't work now we're lumbered with someone on more money than we could have had him for on a free when we were too tight but not desperate enough to get him first time round.

BRILLIANT BUSINESS.

Re: Andre Ayew
I dont think we are in a disastrous position with Ayew. He scored a handful of goals last year, and was recovering from an injury. He's still got enough of a reputation from his couple of years with Swansea to interest a couple of clubs.

Given how the transfer market has shifted over the last 12 months, I would expect us to get close to the £20m back that we paid Swansea. He's a good age an has proven he can score goals in the Premier League. There are a whole host of clubs that should be sniffing around if he became available (Stoke, Swansea, Newcastle, Palace, Brighton etc)

We are in a much worse position with someone like Andy Carroll!

Re: Andre Ayew
Loads on here have been adamant he will come good, but it should have been clear to anyone that, apart from the odd tap in, he offers absolutely nothing. The worst thing about him is his lack of desire.

Re: Andre Ayew
When we were crying out for a striker, we signed this fella, who isn't a striker. The board might have sanctioned the deal, but surely the manager identified him as a player he wanted. He has to wear some blame for that.

Re: Andre Ayew
He's like Carlton, without the lovability. I mean, by that, that just as I finally crack and give up on him, saying "Get this waste of space off the pitch!" he then scores. Then he's shit until I crack again and he bags another goal.

Not enough goals and other positives to justify the hours of frustration with this bloke. At most he should only get to come on for the last 15-20 minutes to see if he can do better against tiring legs. Definitely not a starter when everyone is fit.

Johnson 10:59 Mon Aug 14
Re: Andre Ayew
We were sniffing round him before Bilic joined, so possibly this is a Henry and Sullivan one.

Either way, he's shit.

Very simple saying get rid but who do we replace him with? Given that the better players are going to be more expensive than before.

Re: Andre Ayew
Says a lot about the impact he has had when you consider he would not be in the first choice eleven if all were fit. Not great considering he was the 'big' money signing last year. Similarly for the two big signing in the last window, Fonte and Snodgrass, who do not now appear good enough to get in the team. All tied to big contracts.

Re: Andre Ayew
Simply awful. Didn't want him here in the first place. Think he wad only bought to appease the snake payet.

Lazy useless twat. Want rid of him asafp and don't want to see him in a west Han shirt again.

Re: Andre Ayew
Very sad to see Ayew being the best option in the right. Feghouli should have been kept, and this tosser to be sold.

At best he is a no.10, but all in all a poor poor player

Re: Andre Ayew
I agree, would have rather kept Fegs.

I'd rather keep Snodgrass.

That's how much I hate this coward.

Re: Andre Ayew
An absolute disaster of a signing, awful. £20m for him is as bad as it gets

Re: Andre Ayew
Didn't he play more of a left side attacking role for Swansea. Looks totally out of position. Anyway i've no idea why on earth we bought this guy. Lost the ball so often and wasn't in a hurry to win it back.

Re: Andre Ayew
He's a number 10 who was bought for his goals. Not to play right wing.

Eerie Descent 11:45 Mon Aug 14
Re: Andre Ayew
Yeah, you're right Darby, and for that reason, how can you expect him to put in ANY EFFORT WHATSOEVER?

I mean, it's not like he is being paid millions of pound to at least look like he cares is it?

Willtell 11:47 Mon Aug 14
Re: Andre Ayew
I saw him sprinting a few times Eerie. He was running back late where he was supposed to be so he did make some effort...

Darby_ 11:38 Mon Aug 14

I agree with this. He is a LW or CAM not RW

Sq pegs in round holes which seems to happen alot with Slav

Scored 6 goals towards the back end of last season so could easily chip in with 10+ this year. We just need to get the best out of him

Re: Andre Ayew
Would be a good buy for Swansea once they have the Sigurdssen money.
